Turns Out, I’m In A Villain Clan!

This book is a pretty interesting take on typical isekai cultivation novels. From the synopsis, you know that the main character wakes up with some memories from Earth. Though rather than the typical, person from Earth takes over this body, he just wakes up with these memories and retains his original personality.

As a result, it is a bit different from those typical reincarnation stories. His character is interesting and the twist of having Earth memories does add some interesting aspects to the plot.

The power progression and fighting is also decent. This story is a typical power fantasy so it is kinda expected that the MC is OP and just shits all over his competition. Though there are still some limits to his power and some higher realms that he has yet to explore (I only read up to around chapter 500).

The story has a pretty nice and wide cast of characters. It is nice that this isn't a haram where he gets all the females. he is also able to have decent number of male companions. These characters don't just swoon over the MC typically though they find themselves allied with him or he just kills them.

Though, the lack of "gray" characters is a bit sad as everyone either loves the MC or hates him, and those that hate him either become his follower or just die pretty much.

The plot is also fairly predictable as the MC's plot armour is really thick. Though this is part of the plot since he is a "villain" and is supposed to be in such an enviable position being heir to the most powerful clan.

His personality also don't really change or progress too much throughout the story. So if you like character progression and growth there isn't much of that in the personality department. Though his raw power is very strong and grows rapidly.

His power levels jump exponentially very quickly, then you get a while where his power is the same and everyone starts to catch up to him. There is a bit of the "weak MC but actually secretly strong MC" in the beginning though that quickly goes away due to his personality. And most of the characters don't really question it, so if you really care about logical characters it might not be that good of a read either.

But if you enjoy a novel with nice fight scenes, interesting plot lines with a powerful MC then this book is probably pretty good for you.
